He was born in the small
village Florida, state

1835
His house
Jane Lampton Clemens –
mother of Samuel (1803 ~ 1890).
She was the daughter of
Benjamin Lampton and
Margaret Casey. Five of her
children was born in Tennessee,
others in Florida, state Missouri

Benjamin Lampton
Clemens (1832 ~ 1842) – older
brother
Sam at 15 age
His father died when Sam was
11, because of pneumonia.
After one year he became
an apprentice of printer.
Write a memoirs – “Life on the
Mississippi” when was a boy.
(That is incredible, not
everybody can do this even
in old ages, in my own
opinion)
Twain was encouraged by a travels, he was in the Nevada,
then in the Mediterranean, of course in Europe, Middle East.

wallpapers, and

Olivia Langdon was
born in 1845 in
Elmira – small city in
New York state, she
was from reach
family, her father
was the coal
businessman. She
was educated at
home and at
Thurston’s Female
Seminary
and Elmira Female
college. (I think that
Mark had a nice
preferences in
womans, she is
beauty)
Olivia at 25
ages
On the trip he met
Charles Langdon.
Charles showed him
a picture of his sister
Olivia. Thats how Sam
learned about his
future wife. They
corresponded. Then
Sam offered a
marriage, but she
rejected it. At the
second time he
succeed.
Twain with
Olivia and
daughters
Three daughters were born in 1872, 1874, 1880 – Olivia Susan,
Clara and Jean respectively (I think that Clara is most similar to
mother). They also had a son, but he died in 1872 at just one
year and half, Langdon was his name (that is very sad fact about
them)

The Adventures of

The Adventures of

The Prince and the
Pauper
A Connecticut
Yankee in King
Arthur's Court
The Innocents
Abroad
My favourite book
was “The Prince and
the Pauper”. This
book is amazing,
because of morale,
one boy became a
prince for a couple
days, and a prince
became a pauper,
they both wished for
it, but then realized,
that their lives are
better for them,
anyway, with all of
their limitations
One of the episodes,
their meeting
Stories about two
boys brought fame
to Mark. They was
noted for colorful
descriptions. Many
films were made too
of this books (I had
read them once,
but can’t remember
a thing, I can tottaly
say that “The Prince
and the Pauper”
was cooler for me.)
Tom
Sawyer
Hucklebe
rry Finn
Twain loved science
too. He had close
friendship with
Nikola Tesla.
Thomas Edison also
met him, but just for
film. And his book
“A Connecticut
Yankee in King
Arthur's Court”
features a time
traveller
Twain in Nikola’s lab
His headstone
He had a deep depression
after Susy’s death in 1896,
then he lost wife in 1904,
then Jean in 1909 (He did
not deserve this, even the
enemy does not want to
go through so many
deaths of relatives, so
sad). Mark died of a heart
attack in 1910.
Samuel made a great
contribution to the world
literature, his books are very
popular nowadays, in early
school in Russia too (that is
not so surprisingly, that’s
what he really deserved).
Asteroid 2362 Mark Twain
was named after him. Many
buildings became museums
and e.t.c
Statue in Garden City,
Kansas
