UTILIZATION MINING METHANE FROM OPERATING MINES
OOO «COMPANY «PROKOPEVSKYGOL »
Concentration of methane, gas flow rate and evolution has large value during utilization methane. Concentration of methane is 95-98 % for beforehand degassing. Effective
operation life of degassing boreholes is more than 7-10 years. Decreasing emission methane
by one ton is equivalent emission of 23 tons of carbon dioxide. Modern technologies of methane utilization consist of gas-producing stations, modules of transforming gas mixtures into
heat and electrical energy, steam generating units.
