JAZZ
We can't live without music. We hear music
everywhere: in the street, at home, over the
radio and on TV, in the shops, in the parks and in
the concert halls. There are different styles of
music, but jazz is the most expressive and
colourful. Jazz is a great creation of all times and
peoples. The jazz elements are found in all areas
of music. People love jazz, regardless of their
preferences.
JAZZ
Jazz is a music genre that originated at the
beginning of the 20th century, within the
African-American communities of the Southern
United States.
Jazz has also incorporated elements from
popular music, from American popular music.
JAZZ
In jazz, the performer will interpret a tune in
very individual ways, never playing the same
composition exactly the same way twice.
Depending upon the performer's mood and
personal experience, interactions with other
musicians, a jazz musician may alter melodies.
Jazz elements can be heard outside of its own
genre - in rock, R&B, Latin music, African music.
SWING
There are several types of jazz:
- Swing (jazz's Style obtained after combining
the Negro and European style forms of jazz
music)

BEBOP
- Bebop (experimental direction of jazz
associated with the practice of small
ensembles combo)
Famous musicians: Charlie Parker, Dizzy
Gillespie, Bud Powell, Thelonious Monk
MAINSTREAM. NORTH-EASTERN JAZZ.
- Mainstream (emerged after bebop, swing kept
playing style with improvisation greater)

- North-eastern jazz (stride)

Arab and African melodies and classical music)
