It was a terrible day for the mankind! ....When Lovecraft was three, his father became acutely psychotic and was taken to the Providence psychiatric institution. The omen? This man was strange even in a childhood. Dreams? No! Nightmares... Maybe it is just a “parasomnia”. Much of his later works are thought to be directly inspired by these terrors. For example, Dagon (1917). Creepy… …Travelling, writing, creative madness. I have heard, in April of 1917 Lovecraft tried to join the National Guard, but he failed the physical examination. He is regarded as one of the most significant authors in his genre. Many people were inspired by him. Arts, films, games, music, other books…There was a group of writers became known as the "Lovecraft Circle", since they borrowed elements of Lovecraft's stories. For example, a game “Call of Cthulhu” is not really the best. But… Yes, I know. Games are just games. But, I am not a liar and say what I really think... Many of the Lovecraft’s monsters and Gods are very popular. Another writers often use his characters in their works. I am sure, you know these creatures: Azathoth, Cthulhu, Hastur,Nyarlathotep, ShubNiggurath,Yog-Sothoth… terrible... Brr.... What a horror!
