Hubble parameter in QCD Universe for finite bulk viscosity
The authors consider the influence of the perturbative bulk
viscosity on the evolution of
the Hubble parameter in the
QCD era of the early Universe.
For the geometry of the Universe they assume the homogeneous and isotropic FriedmannLemaitre-Robertson-Walker
metric, while the background
matter is assumed to be characterized by barotropic equations
of state, obtained from recent
lattice QCD simulations, and
heavy-ion collisions, respectively. Taking into account a
perturbative form for the bulk viscosity coefficient, they obtain the evolution
of the Hubble parameter, and they compare it with its evolution for an ideal
(non-viscous) cosmological matter. A numerical solution for the viscous QCD
plasma in the framework of the causal Israel-Stewart thermodynamics is also
obtained. . . .

Doubly special relativity in de Sitter spacetime
The author discusses the generalization of Doubly Special Relativity to a
curved de Sitter background. The model has three fundamental observerindependent scales, the velocity of light c, the de Sitter radius α, and the
Planck energy κ, and can be realized through a nonlinear action of the de Sitter group on a noncommutative position space. The author considers different
choices of coordinates on the de Sitter hyperboloid that, although equivalent,
may be more suitable for treating different problems. . . .
