… that produces temperatures as high as 2500 8C is used to generate new hybrid
fullerene-like nanostructures of MoS2. As J. M. Gordon, R. Tenne, and co-workers
describe in their Communication on page 1810 ff., these particles are comprised of a
nanoscale octahedral core with a smooth transition to quasi-spherical outer shells, and
their structures were confirmed by modeling studies.
