Constitution and Thermodynamics of Ni–La Alloys.
— Title alloys
16 - 013 are prepared by melting the constituent elements followed by annealing between
773 and 1023 K for 14 d under purified Ar. The thermodynamic properties
of the alloys are determined between 923 and 1023 K by e.m.f. measurements
using CaF2 single crystals as solid electrolyte. A complete set of thermodynamic
functions for the intermetallic phases (Ni), Ni5 La, Ni17 La4 , Ni7 La2 , Ni16 La7 ,
Ni3 La2 , NiLa, Ni3 La7 , and NiLa3 , as well as information on the phase relations
