Ion-Electron Transport in Strontium Ferrites: Relationships with Structural
and Stability. — The total electrical conductivity of SrFeO2.5+δ, Sr3Fe2O6+δ,
44- 014 Features
and Sr4Fe 6O13+δ is measured in the temperature range 650—1000 °C at oxygen partial
pressures varying between 10-15 Pa and 150 kPa. From these results combined with
oxygen nonstoichiometry data, the partial oxygen-ion and p- and n-type electron conductivities are calculated. The ferrites with brownmillerite and Ruddlesden-Popper
structures exhibit substantial ion transport, whereas the ion conductivity of Sr4Fe6O13+δ
