Thermal Transformations and Infrared Studies of Mn2P2O7·2H2O. — The title
is characterized by TG-DTG and DSC in the temperature range 25—600 °C,
45- 013 compound
XRD, and IR spectroscopy. Upon dehydration, Mn2P2O7·2H2O decomposes to an amorphous product which crystallizes at 544 °C to give anhydrous Mn2P2O7. The P—O—P
angle is bent for the initial compound and a linear P—O—P bridge is observed in the
