Cu(I)-Mediated Reductive Amination of Boronic Acids with Nitroso Aromatics.
— Three protocols are developed. The reaction proceeds either in the presence of
stoichiometric amount of CuCl as catalyst and reducing agent or with Cu(3-Me-sal) as
a catalyst which requires the presence of ascorbic acid or hydroquinone as the terminal
reducing agent. Various functional groups are tolerated and the amines are obtained in
