The Influence of Processing Parameters on Photoluminescent Properties of
Ba2ZnS3:Ce Phosphors by Double-Crucible Method. — Powders of green to
46- 010 yellowish
green light emitting title phosphors are prepared by solid state reaction of
BaCO3, ZnS, S, CeCl3·7H2O, and starch as reducing agent (950 °C, 16 h). The samples
are characterized by powder XRD, SEM, and photoluminescence spectroscopy. They
display a single orthorhombic structure. Under UV excitation at 358 nm, yellowish
green luminescence is emitted for 0.2 mol% doping. Under 422 nm excitation, green
to yellowish green luminescence is obtained for 0.5 mol% doping. — (LIN, Y.-F.;
