Thermoelectric Properties of (Zn1-xCdx)4Sb3 Below Room Temperature. — The
and structural properties of the title compound are studied below 300 K

for samples with x = 0.0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, and 0.4. The electrical resistivity is found to
increase with increasing Cd content x and to be lower below the β→α phase transition.
The Seebeck coefficient also increases with x. The β→α phase transition temperature
is almost independent of the Cd content. Although the power factor at 300 K has a maximum of 6·10-6 Wcm-1K-2 at x = 0.2, the thermoelectric performance is not improved
