Study of Substitution Limit, Structural, Bulk Magnetic and Electrical Properties
of Ca2+ Substituted Magnesium Ferrite. — The Mg1-xCa xFe 2O4 (x = 0.0—0.35)
48- 014 spinel
system is investigated by XRD, magnetization, ac susceptibility, and dc resistivity measurements. Up to 23% Mg can be substituted by Ca in the fcc MgFe2O4 spinel
structure. The variation of the magneton number as a function of Ca content follows
the Neel's collinear spin model. The determined Neel temperatures are in agreement
