Formation and Crystal Structure of [(F5TeOXe)+·SO2ClF][Sb(OTeF5 )-6 ]. —
The reaction of Xe(OTeF5)2 and Sb(OTeF5)3 in SO2ClF yields
[Xe2(OTeF5)3]+[Sb(OTeF5)6]- (96% yield), which can be used as precursor for the
precipitation of the title compound from a SO2ClF solution (-30 → -45 °C).
[(F5TeOXe)+·SO2ClF][Sb(OTeF5 )-6 ] crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 with
Z = 2 as determined by single crystal XRD at -100 °C. The O—Xe···O fragment is essentially linear (176.1°) with Xe—O(TeF5) and Xe···O(SOClF) distances of 197.1 and
