One-Pot, Three-Component Synthesis of Linearly Substituted Homoallylic Alcohols via Allyl(isopropoxy)dimethylsilane. — The title procedure includes the synthesis of silafunctional vinylsilane from (I) and subsequent Pd-catalyzed cross-coupling
to achieve a diversity-oriented, three-component preparation of linearly substituted
homoallylic alcohols. Pd2(dba)3 is used for the reaction with para-substituted arenes,
while PdCl2(allyl)2 is chosen as a catalyst for the reaction with ortho-substituted arenes.
