Biphenol-Based Phosphoramidite Ligands for the Enantioselective CopperConjugate Addition of Diethylzinc. — Eleven phosphorus ligands,

based on the induced atropoisomerism of the biphenol unit, are studied in the title reaction of typical enones (V) or (IXa). Compounds (I) are established as the most efficient ligands. Their application in conjugate addition reactions of other enones reveals,
that in many cases these new ligands afford much better results than the parent ligand
based on chiral binaphthol, although no ligand shows general enantioselectivity on
every substrates. In particular, the enantioselectivity achieved for ketone (VI) is the
