SrFe2(PO4)2: Ab initio Structure Determination with X-Ray Powder Diffraction
Data and Unusual Magnetic Properties. — As revealed by powder XRD the title
compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with Z = 4. It has almost
linear tetrameric Fe4 units which are connected with each other through common oxygen atoms creating a complicated two-dimensional network. Below 7.0 K SrFe2(PO4)2
exhibits weak ferromagnetism and clear ferromagnetic hysteresis loops. Above 15 K,
