Phase Relations in the Y2O3—BaO—B 2O3 System. — Phase relations of the title
system are studied by XRD. The system contains nine binary and four ternary compounds. The compound BaYB9O16 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2/m
with Z = 2. The new compound BaY3B3O10 crystallizes with a monoclinic structure.
Ba3YB 3O9 has two modifications (α- and β-phases), both of which crystallize in the
