Experimental and Theoretical Studies on the Complex Formed Between H2S and
O-2 . — Ion mobility spectrometry, mass spectrometry, thermodynamics, and ab initio

DFT calculations indicate that the H2 S O-2 (m/z = 66) species produced by introducing H2S gas into an ion mobility spectrometer at atmospheric pressure is a complex
of the form HS—HO2. It is evidenced that proton transfer from H2S to O-2 has a small
or negligible barrier. A binding energy of 14.4 kcal/mol is calculated for the HS—HO2
