The Anderson-Type Anion (TeMo6O24 )6- — A Multidentate Ligand for Trivalent
Rare Earth Cations. — Compounds (IV) crystallize in the triclinic space group P1
12- 025 with Z = 4 (single crystal XRD for all four compounds). Depending on the size of Ln3+
ions, two different arrangements of the building units are present. The (TeMo6O24)6- anion acts as a hexadentate ligand for La and as a tetradentate ligand for Ce, Pr and Nd,
leading to two different infinite chains. The crystal structures of the new compounds
are compared with known lanthanide polyoxomolybdates containing the (TeMo6O24 )6anion and the influence of the Ln ionic radii is discussed. — (DREWES, D.;
