Synthesis and Application of Chiral Cyclopropane-Based Ligands in PalladiumAllylic Alkylation. — A series of cyclopropane-based phosphorus/sulfur

ligands are synthesized and evaluated in the Pd-catalyzed allylic alkylation of acetate
(I) with malonate (II). Ligand MTC is found to be the most optimal one for this reaction.
This ligand is also examined in palladium-catalyzed intermolecular Heck reaction of
furan (X), and in rhodium-catalyzed hydrogenation of dehydroamino acid ester (XIV),
in both cases with less success. In the Heck reaction, ligand TTC gives better results
