A Novel Approach to Develop Dense Lanthanum Calcium Chromite Sintered Cewith Very High Conductivity. — Dense (97.8% of theoretical density)

La0.7Ca 0.3CrO3 ceramics with an exceptionally high conductivity of 69.75 S/cm for
solid oxide fuel cells are synthesized by sintering pure La0.7 Ca0.3CrO3 starting powders
in air at a relatively low temperature of 1500 °C. The starting powders are prepared by
a modified spray pyrolysis process using solutions of La(NO3)3, Ca(NO3)2, Cr(NO3)3,
