A New Zeolitic Layered Tungsten Phosphate with High Cationic Mobility:
Cs3W4O7(PO4)4·H2O. — Crystals of the title compound are prepared by heating a mixture of CsNO3, H(NH4)2PO4, and WO3 in the molar ratio of 1:1:1.333 in air at 600 K
followed by the addition of metallic W and PbBr2 (973 K, 24 h). As revealed by single
crystal XRD, the compound crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group P212121 with
Z = 4. The structure contains corner-sharing PO4 tetrahedra, WO6 single octahedra, and
W2O11 double-octahedra. Ionic conductivity measurements show that the Cs+ cations
