Hydrothermal Synthesis and Characterization of Two New Three-Dimensional
Open-Framework Gallophosphates JGP-n (n: 8,9) Constructed from Inorganic
Layers and HPO4 Tetrahedra. — The new three-dimensional compounds
Ga4P5O22 H5·[C5N2H16 ] (JPG-8) and Ga5P6O26H2·[C3N2H12]2·H3O (JPG-9) are hydrothermally synthesized from mixtures of GaOOH, H3PO4, 1,3-diaminopentane or 1,2-diaminopropane, and H2O (autoclave, 140—180 °C, 3 d). As revealed by single crystal
XRD (JPG-8) crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pbcn with Z = 4 and
(JPG-9) in the triclinic space group P1 with Z = 1. The structure of (JPG-8) contains
HPO4 tetrahedra and inorganic layers consisting of novel Ga2P2O10 single four-rings.
The three-dimensional anionic framework of (JPG-9) is built up from HPO4 tetrahedra
and inorganic layers consisting of Ga5(PO4)4O6 structural fragments. — (YANG, Y.;
