Preparation and Luminescence Properties of Eu3+-Doped MSnO3 (M: Ca, Sr
Ba) Perovskite Materials. — The title compounds are prepared by a two-step
16- 013 and
large-scale synthesis method involving the hydrothermal treatment of an aqueous
solution of Na2SnO3, MCl2 (M: Ca, Sr, Ba), and EuCl3 (autoclave, 200 °C, 5 h), followed by calcination at 800 °C for 3 h. The samples are characterized by XRD, TEM,
and photoluminescence measurements. Strong red emission from 5D0→7F2 at 614 nm is
observed for CaSnO3:Eu, whereas the luminescence properties of the Sr- and Ba-compounds are much weaker. — (LU, Z.; CHEN, L.; TANG, Y.; LI*, Y.; J. Alloys
