Luminescent Properties of Eu2+-Activated SrLaGa3S6O Phosphor. — The new
phosphor is synthesized by solid state reaction from stoichiometric mixtures of
20- 008 title
SrCO3, La2O3, Ga 2O3, and Eu2O3 under H2S at 900 °C for 4 h. The samples are characterized by powder XRD and photoluminescence emission and excitation spectroscopy.
Phosphors with different Eu2+ concentrations exhibit yellowish-green luminescence for
both UV and visible excitation (200—500 nm). Because of their broadband absorption
in the region 380—480 nm, these phosphors meet the application requirements for
