Hydrothermal Synthesis of Crystalline Rectangular Titanoniobate Particles. —
KTiNbO5 powders are synthesized by a new hydrothermal process starting with stoichiometric amounts of Nb2O5 and Ti(OiPr)4 in aqueous KOH solution (autoclave,
300 or 400 °C). The samples are characterized by powder XRD, TEM, and thermal
analysis. The obtained material has a thin and rectangular particle shape and a large
