Other Critical Factors in Achieving High TONs. — Unprecedentedly high TONs
exceeding 1 000 000 are observed in the Pd-catalyzed reactions of aryl-, alkenyl-, and
alkynylzinc derivatives with aryl and alkenyl iodides. In the case of alkynyl—alkenyl
coupling, boron and indium also appear to be the most favorable metals followed by
Al(Zn) and Zr(Zn), whereas TONs observable with Sn, Cu, and Mn are significantly
