Amorphous Carbon-Coated Tin Anode Material for Lithium Secondary Battery.
— An amorphous carbon-coated Sn electrode exhibiting enhanced dimensional stability during Li alloying/dealloying is prepared from aqueous glucose solutions using a
hydrothermal method at 180 °C. This material shows excellent initial capacity and
capacity retention, 681 mAh/g and 98% retention after 50 cycles, respectively. The
amorphous carbon-coated Sn electrode has great potential as a material for improving
