Crystal Structure and Charge Density Analysis of Li2NH by Synchrotron X-Ray
Diffraction. — The bonding nature of hydrogen in the title compound is characterized
by powder XRD at room temperature. The compound crystallizes in the space group
Fm3m (anti-fluorite type structure). Hydrogen atoms are located around N atoms and
randomly occupy the hydrogen sites. The charge density distribution of the NH anion
is almost spherical. Li2NH is an ionically bonded crystal in which Li is a cation and NH
