Preparation and Characterization of Thin Film Li4Ti5O12 Electrodes by Magnetron Sputtering. — The title films are grown by radio frequency magnetron sputtering
on an Au/Ti/SiO2/Si substrate at deposition temperatures in the range 500—700 °C.
The films possess good crystallinity and proper surface morphology for the application
as an electrode of a Li/Li4Ti5O12 cell which shows sharp redox peaks and a large capacity. Both cyclic voltammetry and discharge curves indicate that the films can be used
as excellent negative electrodes in lithium thin-film batteries — (WANG, C.-L.;
