Synthesis of Single-Phase Anatase Nanocrystallites at Near Room Temperatures.
Thin films of nanocrystalline anatase TiO2 on glass and silicon substrates are pre31- 186 —
pared under ambient pressure by spin coating a sol obtained by hydrolysis and condensation of Ti(OiPr)4 in AcOH/EtOH/H2O solution (38 °C, 16 h). The samples are characterized by XRD, AFM, and TEM. The preparation method should open up new applications of TiO2 materials in fields such as biomembranes and tissues with low thermal resistance as well as in the biomimetic formation of highly integrated biomineral
