Preparation and Performance of La1-xSr xCuO3-δ as Cathode Material in
IT-SOFCs. — The title compounds are synthesized by a sol—gel method from stoichiometric amounts of La2O3, Sr(NO3)2, and CuO dissolved in concentrated HNO3, and
solid citric acid followed by calcination in air at 900 °C for 12 h. The compound with
x = 0.3 exhibits the highest electrical conductivity and better electrochemical properties than the compound with x = 0.4. Using the x = 0.3 compound as a cathode of a solid
oxide fuel cell based on the Sm0.15Ce 0.85O1.925 electrolyte, higher current density and
