High Density Hydroxyl Anions in a Microporous Crystal: [Ca24Al 28O64]4+�OH-).
? The title crystal is prepared by treating [Ca24Al 28O64 ]4+ �O-) with a flowing Ar/H2O
33- 275 mixture
at 1350 癈 for 10 h. The samples are characterized by FTIR, EPR, and TOF
mass spectroscopy. It is estimated that the concentration of OH- anions in the samples
is larger than 7 x 1020 cm-3 and that OH- anions are the dominating anions (90%) emitted from the compound. It is suggested that the material could be practically used for
