X-Ray Excited Luminescent Properties of Apatitic Compounds
5(PO 4)3X (X: OH , Cl , Br ); Structure and Hydroxyl Ion Conductivity of Bari34- 011 Ba
um Hydroxylapatite. — The title compounds are synthesized by solid state reaction
methods and characterized by X-ray excited emission spectroscopy. Ba5(PO4)3Cl and
Ba5(PO 4)3Br show broad emission bands centered around 400 nm, while no luminescence is observed for Ba5(PO 4)3OH. As revealed by powder XRD, the latter compound
crystallizes in the hexagonal space group P63/m with Z = 2. The compound exhibits a
ionic conductivity with a maximum of 2.0·10-6 S/cm at 400 °C. — (DUAN, C.-J.;
