Novel Zirconium—Titanium Phosphates Mesoporous Materials for Hydrogen
Production by Photoinduced Water Splitting. — Mesoporous zirconium—titanium
phosphates are synthesized from aqueous solutions of Ti(OiPr)4, Zr(OPr)4, H3PO 4,
octadecyltrimethylammonium chloride, and iPrOH (25 °C, 3 d). The samples are characterized by XRD, UV/VIS, FTIR, 31P MAS NMR, SEM, DTA/TGA, and XANES.
They show reasonable thermal and hydrothermal stability, high specific surface areas,
narrow pore size distribution, and considerable pore volumes in the mesophases range.
