Sulfite over a ZnS—CuInS2—AgInS2 Solid-Solution Photocatalyst. — A

Ru-loaded (CuAg)0.15In 0.3Zn 1.4S2 solid solution is a highly active photocatalyst for the
evolution of hydrogen under visible light irradiation from an aqueous solution containing K2SO3 and Na2S. The comparatively high average quantum yield of 7.4% is obtained under monochromatic irradiation at 440, 480, and 520 nm. A sulfide photocatalyst that is able to produce hydrogen efficiently, even under sunlight irradiation would
