{Sn[Zn4Sn4S17]}6-: A Robust Open Framework Based on Metal-Linked Penta-Supertetrahedral [Zn4Sn4S17]10- Clusters with Ion-Exchange Properties. —
As revealed by single crystal XRD, compounds (V) crystallize in the tetragonal acentric
space group I4m2 with Z = 2. The characteristic building unit is the [Zn4Sn4S17]10- cluster, which features a central tetrahedral [Zn4S] 6+ core capped with four tridentate
[SnS4]4- fragments. The clusters are connected via Sn atoms to create a diamond-like
framework with ZnS topology. The compound is an ion-exchange material with properties resembling those of small-pore zeolites. — (MANOS, M. J.; IYER, R. G.;
