Simple CVD Routes Towards Infiltration of Mesoporous TiO2. — CdS and CuInS2
grown within mesoporous TiO2 thin films by MOCVD and aerosol assisted CVD

methods using single-source metal dithiocarbamate precursors. The films are characterized by XRD, SEM, EDX, and UV/VIS spectroscopy. Transient absorption data for
mesostructured CuInS2/TiO2 films suggest that the material has desirable properties for
employment as a solar sensitizer in solid state inorganic photovoltaic cells.The preparation method may also find practical applications in the production of inverse opals
