Isothermal Section of the Dy—Fe—Sn Phase Diagram at 800 °C. — At 800 °C,
the phase diagram of the title system is characterized by the formation of only two solid
solution-based compounds, DyxFe6Sn6 (0.32 < x ≤ 1) and DyFe xSn 2 (0 < x ≤ 0.2). The
end member of the former solid solution, DyFe6Sn 6 crystallizes with the YFe6Sn6-type
structure. The compounds DyxFe 6Sn 6 (x = 0.32, 0.5) are defect isotypes of the partially
ordered SmMn6Sn6-type structure and crystallize in the space group P6/mmm.
DyFexSn2 (x = 0.05, 0.1, 0.2) crystallize with the CeNiSi2-type structure in the space
