Synthesis and Characterization of New Iridium Complexes with the (4S)-2-[2-(DiLigand that Catalyze
37- 032 phenylphosphanyl)phenyl]-4-isopropyl-1,3-oxazoline
Asymmetric Michael Reactions. — For the first time, new chiral iridium(I) complexes are used as catalysts in asymmetric Michael addition reactions of keto or cyano esters
to α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds. The products are obtained with very low to
moderate enantioselectivity. The best result is achieved with chloride complex IROXA
