where he played for the Brazilian
city?s Atl閠ico Mineiro team between 2012 and 2014.
He is understood to have dated
Priscilla for several years before
moving Beatriz into his sprawling
pad in 2016.
The pair travel with him everywhere he goes, including when the
former PSG and AC Milan ace ?
who retired in January ? tours the
world with his samba band.
In March, during a trip to Japan,
Ronaldinho posted photos and
videos of himself on Instagram,
grinning while draping his arm
around the two women.
He is due to ?marry? the pair in
a private but lavish ceremony in
the mega-rich Rio district of Barra da Tijuca.
Polygamy ? having more than
one wife at the same time ? is technically illegal in Brazil, but police
usually turn a blind eye.
Pop superstar Jorge Vercillo, 49,
who is Ronaldinho?s neighbour,
has already been booked to perform the wedding music.

last year.
But the ex-footballer, whose full
name is Ronaldo de Assis Moreira,
is being warned his wedded three-
some could lead to trouble. His
fiercely-Catholic sister Deisi is
against the joint union, and is said
to have already decided to snub
the ceremony.
And Priscilla?s parents are also
believed to disapprove of the
impending marriage.
They are also said to be unhappy
that new lover Beatriz receives
the same expensive gifts as longstanding girlfriend Priscilla.
A family friend said: ?They are
upset because they discovered
that every present he gives to
Priscilla, he also gives to the
other girl.?
The insider said Priscilla has
been warned by a boss she could
lose her job as a result of the

OBVIOUSLY the weather gods

How else would they manufacture
thunderstorms for the bank

A washout bank holiday is as
predictable as England going out

It might not happen ? but it

However, we should all be looking

Enjoying three-day bank holiday

So whatever the weather and

WE?RE often quick to moan
about modern technology.
You can?t walk down the street
without seeing hordes of social

And it?s worrying the amount of
power tech giants like Facebook

But what?s undeniable is that
amazing advances also bring
amazing tales.
And former sunbed addict Emma
Proctor certainly has one of those.
A remarkable app alerted her to a

have it removed before it became
even more dangerous.
That wouldn?t have been possible

Mikey teased: ?I

in a year?s time.? Next
?
week Gary will be in
the thick of the action
when he is central to
the gripping exit

killer Pat Phelan.
He will also hold
his baby for the
first time, below, after
ex-lover Nicola has an
emergency caesarean
following a collapse.

But fans with bags bigger
than an A3-size sheet of paper will not be allowed in.
The Corrie tours begin
days after the first anniversary of the suicide attack at
Manchester Arena.
Twenty-two people were
killed by Isis bomber Salman Abedi, 22, at an Ariana
Grande concert last May.
Now security chiefs have
brought in a series of measures to safeguard fans at
the new Street tours. The
set, at MediaCity in Salford,
is just three miles from the
scene of last year?s blast.
Anyone taking the
tour has to agree to be
searched. Tour bosses warn:
?Please only bring essential
items and keep belongings
to a minimum.??
The cobbles tours will run
on selected Saturdays from
May 26 until November.
Juliana Delaney, from organiser Continuum Attractions, said: ?The show has
such an extraordinary connection with fans all across
the world.
?We?re delighted some
will be lucky enough to now
follow in the footsteps of
their favourite characters
and walk down those famous cobbles.??

Victoria survived the fall
on Easter Sunday 2015 because she landed on a soft
patch of a ploughed field
near Netheravon Airfield,
Wilts. Describing the final
moments of her terrifying descent, she said: ?The
last thing I remember is

control over it, trying to
open as many cells as I
could, then everything
went black.
?I do not know if it was
the G-force or the impact
but everything cut out.?
Victoria suffered a fractured spine and pelvis, and
broken ribs and her survival was described as a
?near-miracle?.
Her light weight was also
identified as a factor in
helping to minimise her
injuries. If she had landed
just 16ft away on a nearby
country lane she would
have almost certainly died.
Victoria, of Amesbury,
Wilts, told jurors she

The surprise boost comes after years of
decline in the pub industry.
But pub owners have had to change tack to
bring in extra takings.
As well as quizzes and pub grub, some
boozers have brought in activities such as
yoga nights, right, to pull in crowds.
Katie Duffy, joint landlord with
brother Michael at the Chancery
in Beckenham, south-east London,
reckons the activities, listed left,
have gone down well. Katie, 30,
said: ?It?s all the different things we?ve
brought in. We have yoga nights upstairs
and we have just been approached by an artist to have art lessons upstairs.
?It brings in people who might otherwise
not have come out for a few drinks.?

Courtney Act, real name

latest celebrity series
of the show in January, beating politician Ann Widdecombe in the final.
But the show?s conclusion was

This
summer?s

feared to be the last ever if
ratings slump further, has
been delayed until the end

An insider explained: ?They
have revamped the casting
team behind the scenes in
a bid to shake things up
in terms of casting new housemates.
The show won?t start until the end of
August at the very earliest.?
This summer?s series, hosted by
Emma Willis, left, could also be the
longest in the show?s history, with
potential housemates being told to
leave at least 12 weeks free.
The current longest run was in 2007
when it stretched to 13. But this year?s

Producers fear it could be the last

source said: ?They are saying it could

stretch in the house is possible.?

GLUED
TO TV
We?re telly nuts
n by JAMES CAVEN
The average adult spends nearly 10
years of their life watching telly.
It takes up 27 hours a week and we view 13
different TV series in an average month.
The nation?s favourite show is Only Fools And
Horses, first aired in 1981, followed by Game Of
Thrones and Coronation Street.
EastEnders came in 13th place behind Star Trek
and The Walking Dead. US sitcom Friends was
fourth, Doctor Who fifth and Fawlty Towers sixth
then Downton Abbey, Blue Planet, Breaking Bad
and Blackadder.
A spokesman for PerfectHome said: ?Despite the
enormous popularity of Game Of Thrones, it is
heart-warming that 36-year old Only Fools And
Horses still came out on top.
?However, we were shocked to discover that people typically spend almost 10 years of their life
watching TV ? that?s almost one eighth of the average UK lifetime.?

EXCLUSIVE
? by JENNIFER DUNKERLEY
EMMERDALE badboy Mike
Parr has opened up about his
most harrowing storyline ?
and why he has made the
decision to leave the show.
The actor, 31 ? who plays law-breaking lothario Ross Barton on the soap
? confirmed his exit yesterday.
He said: ?I?ve had the best few years at
Emmerdale but it?s time to move on and
explore other avenues. If I win that Soap
Award I might stay, though.?
Mike is up for the coveted Best
Actor award at next week?s event,
nominated for his dramatic acidattack storyline.
The jaw-dropping plot saw Ross
have acid thrown in his face by drug
dealer Simon McManus in a case of
mistaken identity after Debbie Dingle ? Ross?s long-time love ? paid him
to attack her ex Joe Tate instead.
The shocking scenes saw Ross left
for dead and writhing on the floor in
agony, which many fans found deeply upsetting to watch.
?I have felt a lot of pressure with
this storyline because it is so topical,? Mike explains. ?I went to the
producers and asked for a storyline
that hadn?t been done before and
this is what they pitched to me.
?I was like ?Wow, this is brilliant?
because so far all of Ross?s
storylines have been so heavily
relationship based.
I?m p
bea
sc
Challenge
?This storyline was perfect for
Ross. He?s so cocksure about his
looks and let?s be honest there?s barely
anyone left in the village that he hasn?t
slept with. He?s always been so reliant
on his looks.?
Mike had the help of a charity in the
run-up to filming to make sure he was
ready for the challenge.
He explains: ?I did a lot of research
beforehand. I spoke to lots of victims
about their experiences and really wanted to understand what they were feeling.
?In soaps, things tend to move on quite
quickly and I didn?t want to miss any bits
out or lose part of their story.
?So now on screen we?re seeing that
he?s just so down in the dumps that this
has happened to him.
?There?s the physical scars of the acid
attack but the mental scars are just as
bad. This will affect him long term, if not
for ever.?
This week we have seen Ross back to
his badboy ways, tracking down Simon?s
drug-dealer friend Connor and getting
drawn into their murky world.
After discovering Simon was paid to
keep his mouth shut about the attack he
decides Joe must have been involved and
confronts him at gunpoint. But whether
Joe reveals Debbie?s terrible secret or not
remains to be seen. However, someone
does end up on the wrong end of a bullet.
Mike reveals: ?Ross is now all out for
revenge. But there is a big twist. There
are two guns. But Ross has no fear.
?In his eyes he?s got nothing else left to
lose. He?s lost both his parents and now
his favourite brother.
?He?s going all out now and doesn?t care
what happens to him.?
Speaking about the heavy make-up
effects he has to wear to portray the
victim of an acid attack, Mike explains:
?It takes me an hour every morning to
put the make-up and special effects on.
?There?s lots of alcohol and silicone
stuck to it to create the look.
?The make-up department has been
incredible and they have such a difficult
job making sure it looks the same on set
every day.
?The make-up effects are taking their
toll on my skin in that I?ve got a bit spotty
but, to be honest, that?s a small price to
pay to do this storyline justice.
?I saw we received some criticism for
the look of the wounds, which I think was
really unfair as we?d done so much
research looking at acid attack victims to
make sure it was really accurate. But at

CHVRCHES / Love Is Dead ????
PREVIOUSLY self-contained, the
synthpop trio get stellar producers
Greg Kurstin (Adele) and Steve Mac
(Ed Sheeran) to help on album three.
It doesn?t dilute their spikiness and
just brings out their pop skills even
more. Going straight
to the heart of a song
should increase
Chvrches? congregation, especially the
delirious Deliverance.
Love Is dead, the
band have never
been more alive.
SNOW PATROL / Wildness ????
IN the seven years since their last
album, singer Gary Lightbody has
gone through hard times while guitarist
Johnny McDaid has written for Ed
Sheeran and Pink.
The pop aspects are present on huge
ballads Wild Horses and What If This Is
All The Love, but they experiment with
folk and even slinky R&B too.

DJ?S SONG FOR LIAM
HITMAKER Jonas Blue has
a ?deep and soulful? song
lined up for Liam Payne.
The duo became friends last year
and vowed to work together.
Now it appears Liam is ready to
shake up his sound with the DJ?s
magic touch.
Jonas, real name Guy Robin, told
WIRED: ?I?ve met with him quiet a few
times and he really does have an
amazing voice.
?I just feel that I would want to take
him into a slightly different zone.
?Song wise I would do something
with real depth and soul, it would be a
ballad type of track but on a dance beat
if that makes sense.?
But with Liam?s solo debut complete,
Jonas could keep it for himself. The
star teased: ?His album is done now
but mine?s not, is it??
The collaboration will please One
Direction fans because 1D hitmaker
Ed Drewett is on board.
Jonas added: ?We have a writing
dream team which is me, R豈ANS
and Drewett.
?Ed was one of the main songwriters
behind One Direction and he?s known
Liam for a long time, hence why this
all happened.?
He?s not wrong, Britain?s Got Talent
star Ed is the brains behind 1D hits
Best Song Ever, Steal My Girl and History. Ed also co-wrote Jonas Blue?s
Platinum-selling single Mama in 2017.
Liam wouldn?t be the first One Direction lad who Ed has teamed up with
post split.
The British writer worked on Niall
Horan?s Flicker album too.
In the meantime, Jonas Blue is warming up for a busy summer with another
new single, Rise featuring Jack &
Jack.

?I DREAMED of being a

while he?s never visited

in danger of disappearing

The 42-year-old?s three
post-Supergrass albums
are more experimental than
his former band, but in a live
setting the genre-bending
likes of Deep Pockets and
The Oaks were either too
frantic or too restrained to
get on board with. And what
Gaz Coombes,
The Palladium, London
was the deal with not
playing a single Supergrass
track?
Yes, the band split in
2010, but they remain an
important part of Gaz?s
history and the high
watermark by which his solo
work is judged.
It was hard to shake the
feeling that no-one loved
what Gaz was doing more
than the man himself.

A PENSIONER says he

Derek Elliot, 69, has been

and often calls in for a bite

But he was upset when
Mike was served only five
bits of chicken despite the

Derek complained and an
argument developed before
the manager barred them
from the boozer in
Camborne, Cornwall.
Wetherspoons said the
pair had been banned
because they were abusive

MALAYSIA Airlines Flight MH17
was shot down by a Russian
missile, say investigators.
Dutch prosecutors yesterday revealed
Russia?s Buk missile system downed
the passenger jet, killing all 298 aboard,
as it flew over Ukraine in 2014.
The hunt is now on to identify the artillery crew and how high up the chain of
command the order went.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has
always denied Kremlin involvement in the
atrocity, which killed 10 Britons.
Two thirds of those who died were
Dutch.
Holland?s prime minister Mark Rutte
yesterday cut short a trip to India to
return to the Netherlands to discuss the
breakthrough.
Brit victims included Richard Mayne, 20,
HORROR: Blazing wreckage of the jet
student Ben Pocock, also 20, and football

BOOZY Brits are still getting

despite resort chiefs pledging
a crackdown on rowdy antics.
AN airline pilot who
battered his estranged wife
to death with a saucepan
has been jailed for life.
Andrew McIntosh also
punched and kicked
Patricia McIntosh at their
former marital home in
Knightcote, Warwicks.
McIntosh, 54, had claimed
diminished responsibility
for the killing of the
56-year-old, but was
convicted of murder at
Warwick Crown Court.
Judge Andrew Lockhart
told him: ?This was a very

Ayia Napa first earned its wild reputation in the 1990s and it is still hugely

HUBBY IS GUILTY OF
CHUTE TO KILL PLOT
WIFE: Victoria

LOVER: Cilliers
?
wanted a new
life with Stefanie
? by MARC WALKER
AN Army sergeant
is facing life in
jail for trying to
murder his wife by
tampering with her
parachute.
Emile Cilliers, 38, was
also convicted of trying
to kill wife Victoria by
sabotaging a gas valve at
their home in a bid to
poison her.
Parachute instructor Victoria, 42, suffered near-fatal
injuries when her main
and reserve chutes failed
during a 4,000ft fall.
Prosecutors said Cilliers hoped to pay off
debts of ,000 with
his wife?s 0,000 life
insurance money and
start a new life with
lover Stefanie Goller.
A first trial collapsed
after the jury failed to
reach a verdict.
But after a retrial,
Cilliers was convicted of two charges of
attempted
murder
and a third of endangering life by damaging the gas
fitting.
The judge, Mr
Justice Sweeney
told Winchester
Crown
Court,
Hants, he would
allow Victoria to
make a victim impact statement before
sentencing South Africanborn Cilliers on June 15.
Soft
Victoria survived the fall
on Easter Sunday 2015 because she landed on a soft
patch of a ploughed field
near Netheravon Airfield,
Wilts. Describing the final
moments of her terrifying descent, she said: ?The
last thing I remember is
trying to get some kind of
control over it, trying to
open as many cells as I
could, then everything
went black.
?I do not know if it was
the G-force or the impact
but everything cut out.?
Victoria suffered a fractured spine and pelvis, and
broken ribs and her survival was described as a
?near-miracle?.
Her light weight was also
identified as a factor in
helping to minimise her
injuries. If she had landed
just 16ft away on a nearby
country lane she would
have almost certainly died.
Victoria, of Amesbury,
Wilts, told jurors she
?despised? Cilliers and had
planned to leave him.
She was pregnant
with their second
child when Cilliers met Stefanie on Tinder

skiing with
