1 Claim.
This invention appertains to new and useful
improvements in cuspidors and more particu
larly to a cuspidor of the liquid content type.
The principal object of the present invention
5 is to provide a cuspidor which cannot spill when
it is turned over.
Another important object of the invention is
to provide a cuspidor which can be easily cleaned.
Other important objects and advantages of
1 O the invention will become apparent to the read
er of the following speci?cation.
In the drawing:—
Figure 1 represents a vertical sectional view
through the cuspidor.
Figure 2 represents a top plan view of the
cuspidor.
Referring to- the drawing wherein like numer
als designate like parts, it can be seen that
the cuspidor consists of the lower‘ section 5, and
20 the upper section 6, the upper section 6 having
an opening in the top thereof from which de
pends the downwardly constricting neck struc
ture 1 which at its lower end is provided with
an outwardly and upwardly ?aring ?ange 8.

The sections are threaded together as at 9 and
(Cl. 4—258)
upon the bottom of the section 5 is an upwardly
flaring shell Hi having the stem H disposed
vertically therethrough to project above the top
thereof. A cone i2 is supported by its apex
above the top of the shell H] in the manner 5
shown in Figure 1.
With a cuspidor constructed in this manner,
the same can be turned over without any of its
liquid content escaping.
While the foregoing speci?cation sets forth 10
the invention in speci?c terms, it is to be under‘
stood that numerous changes in the shape, size,
and materials may be resorted to without de
parting from the spirit and scope of the in
vention as claimed hereinafter.

What is claimed is:
A cuspidor comprising a bottom section, a top
section, a depending downwardly constricting
neck supported by the top section, said neck ter
minating at its lower end in an outwardly and 20
upwardly flaring ?ange structure, and a conical
shaped member‘ supported by the bottom section
and projecting upwardly into the lower portion
of the said. neck.
