The tiles are laid in rows with adjacent ends
overlapping in the usual manner and ?rst, spaced
apart rows of the tiles are laid as at 12 with the

nails or other fastenings may be driven through
the same into the sheathing A to anchor them.
The spaces between the rows of tile l2 and adja

of the tile which are reversed or arranged with
their convex surfaces uppermost.
The tiles are secured together by means of the
novel clip 15a, detailed in Figure 3.
