able sheet size cutting and folding mechanism.

Figure 1 illustrates a sheet cutting and folding 20
mechanism, including an arrangement of Web

riage mounted for rectilinear movement in the
guideways of the frame, cylinders operably sup
ported in the carriage and arranged to provide a
plurality of pairs of cooperating cutting cylin
ders, means for imparting rectilinear movement 15
to the carriage along the guideways, and means
for ?xedly securing the carriage in position to
locate a selected pair of cooperating cutting cyl
inders in operative position to engage and out

a frame, a carriage movably mounted in the

ting different numbers of webs, means provided
for each pair of cooperating cutting cylinders
for adjusting the operative position of the cylin
ders relative to each other to accommodate dif 30

frame, and means for securing the carriage in
a plurality of positions in the frame, any one
