Figure 4 is a plan view of‘ a blank from'which
the sanitary sandwich envelope is formed.
Figure 5 is a view of the blank on a reduced
scale as disclosed in Figure 4, and being partly
25 folded.
The sanitary sandwich envelope is indicated by
the numeral III, which as disclosed in Figure 1,
has four triangular sides and two narrow rec-
tangular sides, and all of the sides of the envelope
30 tapering to one end l2.
The sanitary sandwich envelope I0 is made
formed from the tabs 40, 44 and 50 being folded pa
.as indicated above, is folded over the rectangular
panel 38 as shown in Figure l. The composite
tab 5| is then sealed to the panel 38 by adhesive.
The sanitary sandwich envelope is now opened
up as disclosed inFigure 1. The envelope is open 15
at the top, and is a six sided container, with all
'
of the sides tapering toward one end l2. The
envelope has a wide opening due to the two .nar
row rectangular panels being opposite each ‘other
and two of the triangular panels being of larger 20
area than the rectangular panels being adjacent
and situated opposite the other two triangular
panels. of the same area which are also adjacent
to each other. The envelope l0 being of a taper
ing shape, will conveniently hold a slice of pic, 25
cake or a sandwich, which are usually cut in
triangular shapes.
The material of my novel sanitary sandwich
envelope may be wax paper, cardboard, or the
like. It is preferably made from light weight 30
paper which is inexpensive, but at the same time
from a ?at foldable blank as disclosed in Figure 4, _ durable enough to serve as a sandwich container.
