This invention relates to an apparatus for die
illustrated in the drawings there is shown in
casting articles having internal threads therein.
More particularly stated, the invention relates

out of the article and the article is ejected by an

cast article from the die.
'I’his invention has for its salient object to
provide a simple and practical apparatus for

The die mold II is constructed in the manner
shown in Fig. 4, with a gate 20 through which
the molten metal enters the mold. The gate 20
communicates with a groove 2| which `forms a
conduit for conducting the metal around the l5

the cast articles are formed.

The invention briiiy described consists of a `
i method of die casting a plurality of threaded
articles in a group and of simultaneously sep
arating the core pins and articles and >ejecting
the casting from the mold after the casting has
set. The invention further consists in apparatus
i for carrying out this method and in apparatus
for simultaneously opening the die and ejecting
the casting therefrom:

In the particular embodiment of the apparatus

28 and is driven in any suitable manner, as by

The clutch yoke 39 is engaged by a clutch
shifting lever 40 pivoted on a iixed pivot 4I and
having its lower end connected by a. link 42 to 40
a lever 43. Lever 43 has a fork 44 at its lower
end in which is positioned a fixed pin 45. The

Operation
When the casting is to be formed the parts are
