In the construction ‘of solid vfloorsaccording

pression girder bodies, separate from the elements
constituting the flat under space layer, are ar
ranged between the-concrete, brick or' combined
girders or‘ribs with the rods'bent at one end
only, the other free end then being bent around
the top of the other girder.

Moreover, the rods 2 which are bent over the
girders or ribs in the compression girder zone,
top of the girders may be given an additional up

such bodies being mountedon suitable supports

Other details of the invention shallv be de

also possible to employ supports provided on the

a threefold mounting for the compression girders.

What I claim is:
1. In a floor construction, the combination of
rib-shaped girders,
pre-formed
arch-shaped
bodies arranged between the girders in the com
pression girder zone, means for suspending said
bodies from the tops ofsaid girders during the
construction of ‘the ?oon'said means consisting
essentially of rods embedded in said bodies and _
having exposed portions bearing directly on the
tops of, said girdersthe'proximatesurfaces of
the girders and bodies being spaced at their up

to provide wedge-shaped spaces,-and a ?lling
mass ?lling the space between said'girders and
bodies, said exposed portions being atleast par

end of each of the said rods being provided with
a downwardly ‘bent portion engaging over and
tially plane and converging downwardly one to
ward ,the other to provide downwardly tapering

bedded. in said body and another end projecting
beyond the said side thereof and supportably
resting upon the top of- the girder, and ?llings
occupying said tapering spaces and embedding
30 at least a portion of said projecting end of the
reinforcing rods, said projecting end of some of
the re-enforoing rods of each‘ body having at
least one part reaching to and depending: along
the far side of the girder and having a lateral
projection supportably engaging under the lower
edge of the other preformed body.

bodies, said rods of the respective bodies having
portions projecting oppositely across and resting
on the; top of the girder to support the adjacent
ends of the bodies thereon, said oppositely pro

at least one of said bodies for supporting the
body on the opposite side of the girder.
