This invention relates to weft replenishing
looms and it is the general object of the invention
to provide improved means for stopping the loom
during which the tube is to operate. Because of
the fact that the switch on the shuttle position

The shuttle position feeler and its switch are
exposed, and precautions must be taken to pre
vent shock to the weaver should these parts be
touched. It is a further object of my present
invention to place the switch in a circuit having
very high resistance so that a very small current
only can flow through the switch thereby reduc
ing the likelihood of shock.

The switch G0 has a nose 55 which normally -

R’ and R2 are of unequal value so that the poten
tial of the cathode may be several volts above
that of the binding post 6}’. The resistance R’
may have a resistance of 3,000 ohms‘ while the
resistance R2 may have a resistance of 27,000
‘ohms. These two ‘resistances are connected
permanently across the lines 69 and 6! as shown
in Fig. 8 and determine the voltage of the cathode
C.
