The simpli?ed duplicating device, according to
this‘invention. comprises a base I0, which may
be a rectangular block of wood. It has four legs
II at its four corners. The top two legs ii are
bored axially providing sockets l2. A rod l3 hav
ing legs I4, is mounted in these sockets. The legs
extend in these sockets and are pressed upwardly
by springs l2“, located in the bottom of these
sockets. Rod l3 thus traverses the top margin,

1 Frame member 2| has a side tab 24 and top and
bottom tabs 25 for facilitating the use of the
frame. It is fastened at its bottom edge to the
frame member H! by snap tab 26. Scales 21 are‘
marked along the inner sides and bottom of the
frame member 2|, or if desired may be indicated
along the outer margin as well. Frame members.
|9>and 2| may be made of any desirable material.
Frame member 2|. due to its more complex con»

by means ‘of pins 28, it is placed ontop of the
felt to be squeezed between the two frame mem

and extend into the felt, holding the stencil paper
tightly in place.
.
The operation of the device is as follows: _
Frame member 2| is placed on a sheet of stenw
